This workshop will have two parts:

PART ONE: WHY YOU NEED PRIVACY

Saying that you don’t care about privacy because you have nothing to hide, is no different from saying you don’t care about freedom of speech because you have nothing to say.

But even worse, refusing to claim your privacy is actually to cede it, either to a state trespassing its constitutional restraints, or to a “private” business.

The goal of this part is for everyone to understand *why* privacy is so important - both for yourself and the world more broadly - and why you can’t really be secure in crypto without a bit of privacy.

PART TWO: PRACTICAL STEPS FOR BEGINNERS + EXPERTS

Protecting your privacy is most effective when done proactively, not reactively. And you never know when you may be targeted!

In this part we’ll go over practical steps anyone can take to make their lives a little bit more private, and thereafter cover more advanced steps for those happy to invest time and money into safeguarding their privacy.

This informal workshop will be held in Trio’s hotel lobby (by the couches) from 2-3:30pm! 👀
